a public secret about my body
Today I went to a shirtmaker and a tailor, and both informed me that I stand very crookedly, with one shoulder much lower than the other. This basically makes it impossible for any clothes to fit me, because ordinary humans are symmetrical, and clothes are designed for ordinary humans.
Both shirtmaker and tailor discovered this awful mutation of mine as soon as I put on their garments. It must, therefore, be pretty obvious, at least to the trained eye. So how is that I never knew this before?
No wonder I’m not comfortable in my own skin.
IS IT BECAUSE ONE LEG IS SHORTER THAN THE OTHER!?
(Can nothing more be done?)
